I got to go to Tennessee Comic Con over the past weekend and it was incredible! This was my first ever Comic Con and it certainly won't be my last.
As a kid, I read a few comics. Mainly the X-Men, Spider Man, Felix the Cat, Batman. I also watched the cartoons associated with them, but I would never say I've ever been a hard core fan. I do know some of the history of the bigger names. The only anime I've ever really seen is Sailor Moon, which I absolutely adore!!
I brought my cousin with me because she really is into the comic con and anime scene. She was an incredible asset! She helped point out just about all the different cosplay costumes that I was unsure of.
The kids of Comic Con
Before I get into all the pictures, I want to first give a special thanks to the cool parents that dressed their kids up for Comic Con. Memphis truly has some of the coolest parents and kids and they definitely represented well. The kids were amazing and the darn cutest things you've ever seen! I just had to give them their own spot!!
As you can see, the kids are amazing. They simply stole the show for me. Brey also might have had to most fun. They got to dress up and see all those favorite characters. This is definitely a great event for take the kids to. Let them dress up and be kids. It's an experience they will never forget.
So we've had enough cuteness. Let's get to the real costumes! These Memphians showed up and showed out! I felt so out of place for not wearing a costume!
And here are the finalist for the best costumes!! Guess who won??
I truly enjoyed my day at the Memphis Cook Convention Center. It was amazing and a memory I won't ever forget. I would like to thank Greg with AVC Conventions for hooking me up with the media pass and for being a great host! Check out AVC Conventions website (HERE) for more upcoming events and check out their IG page for more cool pictures from their Comic Con events!!
Thanks again to everyone that participated and brought out their kids!
