Looking for something different to do on a random Saturday afternoon? Well, so was I. So we decided to have a Saturdaze adventure day. I hit up my new friend Elizabeth Ennis, who wanted to learn a bit more about taking pictures, packed up Maddy and headed oou!

The mission: look for new murals downtown.

It's Elizabeth!!!

When Elizabeth showed up the adventure began! She's on a mission to find all the murals in Memphis. I think I might steal her idea because it sounds incredible! Don't tell her though!

Our first stop was the new mural across from Aldo's Pizza on Main Street. This is definitely one of my favorites!

We headed further North on Main and saw a mural that I've never seen before. It was painted by one of my favorite muralist in Memphis, Jamond Bullock. I love his murals and I seek them out. You can check out more of his amazing work on his Instagram page. It's @alivepaint or just click HERE

Up next was a sharp right on Madison Ave. There is a really dope mural on Madison and BB King that I've seen while driving. But before we got there, the had to get a shot between these two buildings. I like how the buildings seem to bend inwards as they go up.

There can't be a stop without a photoshoot for Maddy! She provided plenty laughs and poses for us.

We finally made it!!

We figured since we made it this far, we might as well go by the mural by AutoZone Park. Elizabeth and I spent about 10 minutes trying to figure out what it actually means. Maybe you can help us out.

So by this point we we pretty tired and hot. So we decided we should get some ice cream because what else do you do on a hot day in Memphis? The most logical place is Maggie Moo's!! I just want to mention the Mango ice cream that Maddy had. It was some of the best I've ever had in my life! I snuck a few spoonfuls in when she wasn't looking lol.

That was our Saturday adventure! It was a great way to spend some time in downtown Memphis, hang out with friends and have a mini scavenger hunt. Memphis has some amazing scenery and even more amazing people that are more than likely to strike up a random conversation with you. Get out and explore this great city and let us know if you see any more murals that we haven't gotten. We are always open for more adventures!
